    Blessings - Financial

There are more people in financial trouble today than there ever has been in all of history.   People are not where God wants them to be because they are not following His laws.  We need to remember that God is no respecter of persons.  God does not have favorites.  If we comply with what is written in His Word, then God promises we will reap the benefits of doing it God's way. (Acts 10:34) (Malachi 3:10-11)

Jesus says in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Many people have read this scripture and always associate it with money or financial gain, but money is not mentioned anywhere in the scripture.  Jesus says, give and It will be given unto you good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.  That It is what ever it
is that you need.  If you are in need financially, then give to God what finances that you do have now.  If you are in need of a friend, then be a friend to someone else today.  Whatever the need is in your life; give what you have to God now and He will multiply it and bring it back to you.  The Scripture says, give and It will be given unto you.

Action must be first taken by the sower, and then God will multiply the seed that has been sown, 30, 60, and 100 fold.  Imagine a farmer who goes out to cut down and take in his harvest.  In order for him to have a harvest, there first must have been seeds planted. It would be foolish for a farmer to go and collect their harvest if they never planted their seeds in the beginning of that season.  It is the same thing concerning our financial blessings. (Mark 4:8)

If there has not been a seed sown into the kingdom of God, then we should not be looking for a harvest to come in.  God says in Malachi 3:10 "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it."  God says in this verse, try me and see if I will not do what I said I would do. God is not a man that He should lie, so if God said it, then His Word will come to pass. (Numbers 23:19)

If you are in trouble financially and need God to open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you cannot contain, then I ask you to sow into the Church or Ministry that God leads you to, and in doing so, you should expect to reap the benefits of obeying God's Word.  Stay diligent and steadfast and do not be moved by the circumstances that you are presently in, but rather know that God in heaven will be faithful in guarding over the tithes and offerings that you have sown into His work
and He will bring it back to you multiplied in ways that you never thought possible. (Galatians 6:9) (Malachi 3:11-12) (Isaiah 55:8-9)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Malachi 3:8-10 "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Deuteronomy 8:18 "But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."

3 John 2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
Ephesians 3:19-20 "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.

    How To Buy Without Money

    How to Buy without Money

    by Richard Gazowsky

Most spiritual people that are riding at the cutting edge of God's will are familiar with the Isaiah quote, "Come buy without money, without price." But few have actually taken this Scripture as a directive to follow, even though Isaiah meant it in its practical application. Most Christians that are trying to push dramatically forward in the fulfillment of their vision are in desperate need for the proper finances. The closer the Christian gets to the intellectual disposition, the more they would excuse it by saying, "If I have the money, it's an open door. If I don't, it's not God's will." To them, money and God seem to be the same. To this group of people, I have nothing to say. But to you who believe that God is your sole source of supply, you are the special group - the group that is waiting to see God fulfill everything He's promised you. And to you, I write this blog to encourage you and strengthen you and also add to your possibilities that what Isaiah said was practical and true. You can buy without money and without price.

To show you that this is not just some Christian 'pie-in-the-sky', the principle actually does occur in the secular business market.  A wealthy gentleman in Palm Beach, Florida had a home for sale for $6 million. He felt led to sell the home to his friend for no money down and a reverse mortgage. (The monthly payments are added to the principle.) After living in the home for three years, the friend sold the home for just over $10 million. The monthly payments were taken out of the principle and his profit was nearly $3 million. So in reality, not only did he buy a home without money, but he actually made $3 million for living in that home. Your first response could be, "Richard, that's a special case. The man had a friend with incredible connections and benevolence." Of course, my reply to you is simple, "What! And  you don't?"  Tell me now-who is better connected than Jesus Christ, your God? This promise in the Scripture is totally from Him.
We will never know in a personal way the power and glory of God until we understand what it means to receive His grace, or should I say, His unmerited favor? God's favor is the favor of the King of Kings, the controller of all natural assets. The story I just shared with you was the story of a small time millionaire who had very limited assets, but could still bless a friend. God has unlimited assets. He is a big time google-plex-aire and can bless every single one of you that are reading this blog with His unsearchable supply.
The next question that is usually posed is, "Hey, sounds cool! How do I access it?"
Miracles are usually incidentals that happen in the process of seeking divine fulfillment. Jesus was trying to reach His disciples in the middle of the sea. The walking on water miracle was a by-product of His obedience. I chose this story because you can see that Jesus had to focus on the end objective so that the miracle that was occurring when He walked on water could not distract Him from His divine purpose. When Peter tried to follow Jesus, he only made it a few steps before the phenomenon of walking on water distracted him. His eyes to left Jesus, and looked at the huge waves of problems around him.
If you think about the previous paragraph and consider your situation that needs money, you will see why you are not seeing your miracle come to pass. Purchasing without money is all about following the objective of faith without allowing the lack of resources to distract you. Below are a couple of examples:

*When our movie company started, the Lord told me to lease a large studio in downtown San Francisco. The lessor wanted $28,000/month for a 40,000 sq. ft studio. I did not flinch at the price, though it was more than our church's monthly income. As I met with the agents preparing the contracts, God spoke to me and told me to offer them $1.00 a year for the first 2 years. Through a series of meetings, I made the offer and they accepted. So for $2.00, we got prime real estate in downtown San Francisco.

*When God spoke to me to design a 70-mm digital cinema camera, I cried out to God, "God, why don't you give me money and then I can do it?" The Lord simply said, "I didn't tell you I would give you money. I told you to build the camera. Do what I said do. So in obedience I flew to Europe and met with chip manufacturer called the Fill Factory. They liked my design and introduced me to a camera company in America called Vision Research. After months of design, it was time for the first payment on the camera to be made, which was over $500,000.00. Before I could pay the company money (which I didn't have), the CEO asked if I would be willing to share the patent for the chip with them. Without any forethought, the Holy Spirit told me what to say. "Jesus said, 'Freely you have received, freely give.' The Lord gave me this chip design for free, so I give it to you for free." The camera company, Vision Research, was amazed and said they would completely pay the nearly $5 million price for the development of the camera.  At home, go to this link below and you can see a picture of the P-65 camera, which is the first 70-mm digital camera in history, all done without money, without price:
    http://www.visionresearch.com/index.cfm?sector=htm/files&page=camera_65_new
I pray that each one of you reading this would expand your vision to believe that God has all resources and assets in His control and that the fulfillment of your vision is not beyond your reach- it is just within the reach of your faith. On Saturday night, God gave me a dream and in the dream, He said, "I have chosen the race that you are to run in because I know that you can win it. Just like at the Olympics, if someone is a fast runner in a short race, that is where they place them. If they're a fast long distance runner, then they are chosen to run in that event." God chooses the situations, testings and trials that each one of you are to go through because He knows you CAN win. You are set up perfectly in line to win. The race of faith is before you and the impossibilities are the places where God is going to show up, so get on with it! Quit sitting around waiting for something to happen. Do something and watch God meet you. In my own personal life, I am running like a sprinter, but at the same time I am waiting patiently for His deliverance.

The Casting Of A Lot Of Controversy

The Casting Of A Lot Of Controversy

    by Richard Gazowsky

As God is moving me into higher circles of influence, I am making some unusual discoveries about leaders that are in positions of power. One of those discoveries is that you should be careful if you mention the casting of lots, because it can cause a lot of controversy. But oh, what fun that controversy is! It's amazing how powerful men squirm when losing control over any aspect of the decision- making process. I have found it to be so fun to see how freaked out these guys get-try it, you'll see what I mean.
It was many years ago that I heard about the casting of a lot. I was shocked to discover that some of the most important decisions made by the early Pentecostal movement were made by this method. As a boy, I remember sitting around a group of old Pentecostal evangelists and watching them draw straws on who was to preach that night. It was so random, yet so fresh, and the man upon whom the lot fell spoke with such fresh anointing and unction. But as I grew older, I never heard of people putting the decision up to the Lord.Of course, everybody said that they did the will of God. But to them, the will of God was only expressed through their decision making process. It even got to the point where people would say, "If you have the money to do it, it's God's will. If you don't, it's not." Of course, in this last case, the God of money had complete rulership over a person's lifestyle. Jesus taught that you cannot serve God and money-you'll hate one and love the other. Of course, this point brings me back to the question of casting of lots.

Any person who is making a decision of any importance has any number of choices to determine what process they're going to choose to effectually make the right decision. One common method would be to reason something out. But of course, since the carnal mind is enmity against God, that thinking process already appears to be flawed from the beginning. Another way to know God's will would be listening to the still, small voice of God that speaks in your spirit. Now of course this process is clearly the more perfect way, but I can count an innumerable amount of events where I saw people say that they heard God speak to them, but their decision led to disaster, and there was no way to go back and verify whether God actually spoke, or that the person confused their own lust of the flesh with the true voice of God. This becomes especially important when your decisions begin to effect large numbers of people who are there to help you on your pathway. A method in the past has always been the pastor hears from God and everybody else follows. But, what if he makes a mistake? If he makes a mistake, everybody blames him, and they have no method of going back and checking on how the pastor asked God. By nature, I am a very practical person, so I've always wondered, what is a method of asking the Lord that is completely verifiable so that others could look and see it answered? This is where the casting of the lot comes into play. I cannot tell you how it works, but I know it does.

The casting of the lot is used many times in the Bible. When David was facing annihilation at Zigklag, he cast a lot and asked the Lord if he should pursue the enemy. The lot came up 'yes,' and they went off to pursue. David's men were exhausted, tired, and needed an answer desperately from God. The answer had to be seriously verifiable. If David had said to the men, "Well, I feel we should pursue," would not be enough. He needed something physical that he could throw the decision weight upon and the casting of the lot proved to be perfect. In Proverbs 16:33, it says, "The lot is cast into the lap, and its every decision is of the Lord." That is about as clear as the nose upon your face. If you are sincere, and honest, and you do not want to manipulate the influence of the will of God, casting of a lot is the purest non-argumentative decision making tool. It simply tells you if God is saying 'yes' or 'no.' Usually, I will pray and then flip a coin. If it comes up 'heads,' the answer is yes. If it comes up 'tails,' it usually means do not rush the decision, wait a little bit; or it may be just a flat-out 'no.'

Proverbs goes on to say that the casting of a lot can bring peace among a group of strong leaders. It appears to me that this should be a normal function, especially among Christian leaders. Sorry guys, but I just can't find it. As a matter of fact, if I even suggest it, I am amazed at the instant strong anger that rises up against my suggestion. The only thing that I can perceive is that it simply comes down to the spirit of control. People work a long time and make a lot of sacrifices so that they can be the one that is in control and then suddenly, this idiot comes along who says, "Hey, let's ask God first." They think 'Well, wait a minute! I'm the person in control and haven't I already told you what decision I have made? And don't I hear the voice of God? So why would you want an independent confirmation that is out of my control?' Hmmmm...let me think. My reply in these cases is 'Maybe that is the reason that I want to ask God independently, because you are so in control.' Hey look- I know this is not easy. When I first started casting lots and asking God with a pure, innocent heart, I felt like I was throwing my whole future away, right into the wind. But now that I have been doing it for more than 13 years, thousands of decisions later, I can tell you that every time I let God decide, His decisions have been better than mine. And for me, that is fascinating because the more I let God make a decision, the more I admire His divine wisdom. I want to become more vulnerable and dependent upon hearing God's voice every day and every way.Christian WYSIWYG Filmworks | 1970 Ocean Avenue | San Francisco | CA | 94127

"Can these bones live?" (Ezek 37:3) -R. Stanley

    Reading: Ezekiel 37:1-14

"Can these bones live?" (Ezek 37:3)

Prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of the backslidden people of God. Nothing but a valley of "very many" and "very dry" bones could explain their awful condition. They seemed to have gone to a point of no return. The people themselves cried, "Our hope is lost!" (v11). God asked the prophet, "Can these bones live?" He threw back the question to God saying, "Lord, You only know!" The situation from a human viewpoint was i-m-p-o-s-s-i-b-l-e !

The Church is no better today. There is form but no power. "They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly" (2 Tim 3:5). There is a name but no life. Christ rebuked the Church in Sardis, "You have a reputation for being alive — but you are dead" (Rev 3:1). There is wealth but no vision (Rev 3:17). There are activities but no love (Rev 2:2-4). Instead of multiplication there are only divisions. In the words of the Preacher, "In the place of justice, wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, iniquity was there" (Eccl 3:16). Vance Havner pointed out, "We have comfortable homes to ride in comfortable cars to sit in comfortable Churches to hear comfortable sermons. What do we know about the reproach of Christ?"

An artist once was asked to paint a picture that would portray a dying Church, hoping if even that might inspire the congregation to realise their need forrevival. The painting showed a grand Church building with tall spires, magnificently carved-out pulpit stand, exquisite stained glass windows, huge wooden doors and glittering chandelier lights. Near the huge doors was a small offertory box, the mouth of which was covered by cobweb. Yes, any Church that does not send or support missionaries is a dead Church. As Dr. Oswald J. Smith (1889-1986) put it, "A Church that does not evangelize will fossilize!"

But God has not given up on the Church. The gates of hell will have to ultimately give in to the Church (Mt 16:18). On our part we must obey like Prophet Ezekiel and keep on prophesying (Ezek 37). "Cry aloud, spare not. Lift up your voice like the trumpet. Tell My people of their sins! Yet they act so pious!" (Isa 58:1). The Church will then come back to where it should be. It will stand up "like a great army" and conquer the world for Christ (Ezek 37:10). The world at its worst needs the Church at its best!

O Breath of Life, come sweeping thro' us.

    Revive Thy Church with life and power;

O Breath of Life, come, cleanse, renew us,

And fit Thy Church to meet this hour!

                       (Bessie P. Head, 1850-1936)

    Living in the Rain

"Just as the rain and snow descend from the skies and don't go back until they've watered the earth, making things grow and blossom…so will the words that come out My mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do"
     (Isaiah 55:10-11, Message)

Rain is symbolic of God's blessing, favor, and refreshing. His Word is like rain that causes us to flourish and blossom in every area of life. The scripture says we should live like a well-watered garden, vibrant and growing. We should live under God's cloud of blessing. How do we do that? In the natural, a cloud is formed when moisture vapors rise up from the earth into the atmosphere. Eventually, the moisture is so abundant that the rain begins to fall. In the same way, your praise is like the invisible vapors that rise up to heaven and form a cloud. Eventually, your praise will activate an outpouring of God's blessing, favor, and provision in your life.
Do you feel like you are in a dry season? Begin to praise and thank God that He is bringing you through to a place of refreshing. Magnify and bless Him for His goodness in your life. As you turn up your praise, God will turn up the rain and you will experience His abundant outpouring. You'll experience His blessing and provision and live as an overcomer in every area of your life.

    A Prayer for Today     Smile
Heavenly Father, today I choose to bless and honor You. Thank You for this day. Thank You for giving me life. Thank you for making me new. Thank you for saving me and filling me with Your peace and joy. Rain on me today. In Jesus' name, Amen

    Shalom
